September 9, 2019. - 2btube, a leading digital media group with offices in Spain, Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia and the US and its subsidiary Touché Films have struck a deal with production and management company MoJo Global Arts.

MoJo, recently set up by Shoreline Entertainment Founder and CEO, Morris Ruskin and Film Maker Jordan Walker-Pearlman, closed a management deal with 2btube to develop, package and produce premium content for Latin America, Spain, and Hispanic U.S.

With a slate of TV series, movies and digital content to be produced, the companies are working in a model that will allow them to produce successful, high quality content for the highly connected young generations.

“I’ve been fortunate to have been involved in producing and selling Spanish language films for many years and suddenly the worldwide demand for Spanish language content is skyrocketing. It’s really a very exciting time,” said Morris Ruskin, of MOJO Global Arts, “2btube together with Touché Films has a global audience of more than 428 million followers worldwide who generate at least 1.2 billion views per month, predominantly amongst viewers under 34 years of age. This is going to grow exponentially and also help drive traditional platforms such as theatrical releases, VOD and TV. I’m very excited about this team and looking forward to our merger of skill sets and all the incredible opportunities.”
“Our specialty is reaching Spanish speaking audiences under 34,” explains Bastian Manintveld, Chairman of 2btube, “We are leading on digital platforms and Film and TV are new and exciting ways for us to scale up and reach this audience through traditional media. This was a huge driver behind our recent acquisition of Touché Films. We are proud to have Morris, Jordan and Alex as our allies to help us to accomplish our ambitions on a bigger scale.”

The deal came about as a result of the track record of the team at 2btube’s subsidiary, Touché Films in building EnchufeTV, the leading Spanish language comedy channel on YouTube with more than 35 million followers on digital platform; and its first steps in theatrical feature film with “Dedicada a mi Ex” to be launched in November 2019. Touché has also closed a soon-to-be-announced content deal with YouTube Originals.

“This is an amazing opportunity to take our content and our unique comedic language to the next level. There is a fast-growing Spanish-speaking market seeking high quality content they can identify with; this agreement with MoJo will allow us to increase our reach in the theatrical, VOD and SVOD world” said Arturo Yépez, CEO of Touché Films.
Alex Flores, manager at MoJo who helped consolidate this agreement, stated “for years I’ve been following the excellent work of this incredible group of artists; Their unprecedented reach of 30 million subscribers on digital platforms, coupled with the fact that they are already producing movies and content for Sony and YouTube Originals and many other companies, will allow us to realize our joint vision for the next wave of Latino content on a global scale.”
